PANI works at the grassroots to empower communities with a special focus on women, adolescent girls, farmers and the most marginalized – enabling them to grow, thrive and take charge of their own lives through awareness, learning and collective action.

Gramina Abyuday Seva Samsthe (GASS) works with the aim of empowering communities by providing vital services in the areas of health, education, livelihoods and environment while protecting and caring for the most vulnerable sections like children, women and senior citizens and people with disabilities (PwDs).
Our pursuit of creating sustainable and equitable communities has so far served more than 150,000 people in the State of Karnataka, India.

We are on a mission to catalyze change for millions of girls and women across India. We equip, mobilize, educate, and empower women and girls to achieve gender equality. We partner with various stakeholders, including local health institutions, schools, communities, and systems at both the state and national levels. We are building a world where every girl, every woman, everywhere, has the agency to fulfill her potential.

Established in 2016, the Martha Farrell Foundation (MFF) is committed to shaping a gender-just society by countering and eliminating sexual and gender-based violence. Working at the intersections of gender justice, safe workplaces and grassroots women’s leadership, the foundation’s approach recognises that sustainable change emerges when women move from being recipients of support to becoming leaders, negotiators, and decision-makers within their own communities and workplaces. Taking forward the vision, mission, and profound legacy of Dr. Martha Farrell, a renowned feminist practitioner and civil society leader. MFF continuously strives towards fostering safe, diverse and inclusive spaces for everyone.

In today’s dynamic world, children encounter both challenges and opportunities, from economic instability to technological advancements. Aflatoun recognizes the importance of equipping children, especially girls and vulnerable groups, with social and financial skills to thrive in this environment. Our strategic plan (2022-2026) focuses on integrating Social & Financial Education into quality education, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to lead global efforts in Child Social & Financial Education, promoting equitable and quality education worldwide.

We enable K – 12 educational leaders to develop their potential to transform the quality of education and drive improved student outcomes.

School Leaders have the potential to drive improved student outcomes, yet in many places, School Leaders don’t receive the right training to support learning in their schools. Our goal is to address this gap.

We work towards improving lifespaces and addressing development challenges. Based in New Delhi, India, we provide technical assistance to groups and organizations across the country and in other countries in South Asia.

EcoPrism Collective Foundation is a non-profit organization incubated by the alumni of Social Work Students from Banaras Hindu University, India, with the guidance and support of the University Professors. While working as development practitioners, researchers, policy analysts and academicians for more than two decades in multiple domains, the idea of “EcoPrism” originated in the year 2022 in response to the the lessons learnt from Covid- 19 pandemic that can be applied to our quest for sustainability and how we can govern our societies in a way that respects planetary health as a precondition for human and economic growth.

Aastrika Foundation, on August 30, 2024, in New Delhi, brought together government officials, policymakers, thought leaders, public health organisations, and development sector experts for a day of meaningful dialogue on maternal health challenges, capacity building, and professional midwifery.

From the hills of Champawat to communities across India, Rang Kaarwaan is a grassroots, women‑led movement redefining education, gender equity and community empowerment through art, dialogue and radical love. We build spaces where people explore themselves, question systems and imagine new possibilities. Through theatre and the arts, we nurture intergenerational changemakers, combining expressive learning with long‑term mentoring, capacity‑building and collective action.

It is a non-profit organization aiming to foster a culture of innovation and critical thinking by equipping students with the tools and mindset to solve real-world problems. Their mission is to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application by providing hands-on learning experiences that inspire and empower students to think critically and act innovatively.

Gramin Vikas Trust (GVT) is guided by a simple yet powerful belief: development is meaningful only when it restores dignity, strengthens communities, and empowers people to shape their own futures. Established in 1999 with the support of KRIBHCO, the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, and DFID (UK), GVT has spent over two decades working closely with underserved and marginalized communities across India, grounded in empathy, integrity, and long-term commitment.

The research team, in partnership with HerKey, one of India’s leading platforms advancing women’s workforce participation, is conducting this study on the challenges women face in re-entering the labor market. The research is led by Ashwini Deshpande (Ashoka University), Gaurav Chiplunkar (University of Virginia), Kanika Mahajan (Ashoka University), Niharika Singh (University of Notre Dame) and Nandhini S (Ashoka University).
