Pronoy Sarkar
Regional Project Coordinator
Pronoy Sarkar is a Regional Project Coordinator at DIA. He holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature from Rishi Bankim Chandra College, which is affiliated with West Bengal State University.
He brings a wealth of hands-on fieldwork experience from across India. Pronoy has a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research, focusing on tracking the progress and success of projects related to education, healthcare, women's safety, and rural development. He also served as a Research Associate with DIA, where he studied the long-term effects of a community-led natural farming program in Andhra Pradesh (APCNF).
At DIA, Pronoy focuses his research on promoting gender equality, improving education, and building stronger communities. When he is not working, he is just as active—he enjoys traveling to new places, composing music, and playing football.;
